What is The Training Manager’s Yearbook Online?

The Training Manager’s Yearbook Online is a searchable database containing more than 30,000 training and development contacts in more than 8,500 of the UK’s largest companies and organisations. These contacts include:

• Training Directors/Managers/Officers
• Learning and Development Directors/Managers/Officers
• Management Development Managers
• IT Training Managers
• E-Learning Managers
• Personnel/HR Directors/Managers responsible for training

Each company entry provides an address and telephone number and the majority of entries contain details of senior executives (e.g. Managing Director, Chief Executive, etc.) and give turnover and employee figures.

Many entries also contain useful additional information including: number of training staff, training budgets and the types of training undertaken.

Only companies with more than 100 employees (or a substantial turnover) are listed and each company entry contains at least one contact responsible for training.

Searching for UK training contacts

The Training Manager’s Yearbook Online allows you to search for training contacts in a number of ways:

If you are looking for a specific individual or company, the quick search option allows you to search by either:

• Company name - e.g. “Carlsberg UK”, or
• Individual name - e.g. “John Smith"

If you want to create a list of companies according to specific criteria, the advanced search option allows you to search by:

• Geographical area(s) – Region: e.g. “Eastern”, or County: e.g. “Essex”
• Industry sector(s) – e.g. “Media, Publishing & Communications”
• Employee figure – e.g. “250 - 1,000”
